I have a task that, when it ends, it doesn't return control back to the
most appropriate profile it should.
So I have 3 profiles:
Day 6am-10pm
Night 10:01pm - 5:59am
Battery- runs when my tablet is on battery.
The three profiles run except when the battery profile stops, it does so
because I'm now off battery and charging.
I want it to run the day or night profile (based on the time
I have a deskside tablet that has a day and night profile.
They are both simple and straightforward.
The day profile runs from 6:31am-10:29pm and runs a day task which lights
up the screen at 50% and goes to the home screen. This is so I can see the
clock across the room during the day.
The night profile runs from 10:30pm-6:30am and runs a night task which dims
the screen to about 2% and
Is there a way to stop a long task when using the "wait" action several times. For example, "say", "wait" 2 min "say" "wait" 2 min. When I switch off the profile tab in tasker the task still runs its entire cycle, the only way I can disable it is temporarily disabling tasker. I tried profile status and stop using another profile but didn't work. Any suggestions? if you know what the hell I am taking
So I have these two profiles:
-One profile automatically overclocks my minimum CPU frequency by a certain
amount whenever i enter certain apps (spotify, tunein, poweramp) and then
automatically goes back to default CPU values when I leave the app.
-Another profile sets the CPU to use a certain governor (powersave) and the
lowest available clock values.
Now, my question/dilemma is twofold
I use tasker to control the startup and shutdown of an android tablet in
the car.
If the tablet gets power from the car, it should start.
If power goes off, the display should go out after 20 seconds.
If power stays off for 3 more minutes, the tablet should shut down.
This works almost perfect, I accomplished it like this:
1. Startup when power on was done by the factory. So I don't have
Hi guys
Brand new to tasker, and I am already addicted. I currently have profiles
to mute my phone when connected to a particular bluetooth speaker, a
profile to run a greenify hibernation shortcut when the display turns off,
a profile to take a picture of the person unlocking my phone and a
currently failed attempt to take a picture of someone who gets my pin
wrong. I am currently running
Hi Penn,
I'm using a javascript (started via a script task) that is triggered by
multiple profiles. Is there a way, from the javascript, to detect which
profile triggers the task that opens the javascript?
profileActive does this pretty well for state profiles, but for event
profiles, profileActive is not set when the javascript is executed.
Thanks in advance!

networks. How do I perform a "say" action only when connected to a specific
SSID within the same profile?
