When you build the AOSP source code you can launch the emulator afterwards
simply by typing "emulator" from the command prompt. However this only
works because the build process has edited the path for that terminal
window. If a new terminal window is created (or you reboot your machine
etc.) then the emulator can no longer be executed from the command line.
I have the same problem as reported
Has anyone been able to install couchdb on an android emulator? The
emulator doesn't have the app store, so I can't download pre-built binaries.
Welcome any advice or suggestions.
(Win7, eclipse, android sdk, standard emulator images)
Hi All,
I'm new to JMeter and would appreciate if someone can
give me some ideas on using JMeter with terminal
emulator (mainframe green screen). The goal is to
write performance tests.

Hello,
I am able to compile AOSP for hammerhead, and flash it into a device.
Everything works great. However, I would rather play around with the
emulator to make my changes to the AOSP, and then eventually flash my
actual device once I've made all my changes.
My understanding is you simply run "emulator" in the terminal after
building the AOSP. This doesn't appear to be working. Note
Dear AOSP kernel experts,
I am not able to start own kenrel inside emulator. Device is allways

Where are the emulator sources ?
I want to change the source code of the emulator to emulate my own
device, but I can't find the location of the code. There are emulator
folder here and there but I can't seem to find the emulation code.
Thank you in advance,

Hello,
I have downloaded the source for Android 6 and tried to build aosp_arm-eng.
I got the folowing error:
Lex: aidl
I am trying to create a build based off AOSP that runs on hyper-v. I
understand there is already a project called android-x86, but I am hoping
there is already a way to build for x86 in AOSP, without needing all the
support for the other devices. I basically just want to build and
customize a build specific for hyper-v.
What is the best way to go about this?
I see that there are generic_x86
