Hi,
It seems that after nodejs v0.10.22 the node-..-linux-arm-pi.tar.gz has not been build and uploaded to dist.
Similar for the v0.11 line, as v0.11.9 is the last one with raspberry pi binaries.
Is anyone still building these binaries (manually)?
Best regards,
Jeroen
Just saw this new posting about putting Node.js on the Raspberry Pi.
As much as anything I'm putting this link here for my own future
reference when I (eventually) get my Pi delivered!
Anyway hope it's also of use to others:

Hi,
I'm trying to use redis on raspbian on a B model raspberry pi.
I'm having an issue trying to access redis after restarting it during an upgrade, where it seems to be unavailable for a very long time.
Initializing redis database...

Hi guys,
hopefully you can help me with my idea. So far i figured out that it is
possible to control Yatse through the Android Tasker App and set up some
profiles.
Now i want to know, if it is possible to setup a profile which is starting
my internet radio addon through yatse and playing one special radio
channel? Really important for me is that somebody is explaining it as
simple as possible
Buenas gente!.
Estoy experimentando con la raspberry pi (una maravilla). Desde el portatil
la controlo vía consola SSH, pero para los comandos que más uso había
pensado crearme una app android. He probado la librería JSCH pero no parece
funcionar bien. Digo parece pq a veces funciona a veces no con el mismo
comando.
Alguno tiene experiencia usando ssh desde android? alguna recomendaci

My knowledge in compiling things in C/C++ is quite limited but I've managed to write a makefile with all the flags needed to compile a C library for the raspberry pi camera. Link to the repository: omxcam
A little spam:
omxcam is a promising C library for controlling the raspberry pi camera. It communicates directly with OpenMAX and as far as I know it's the first library that does this because
FYI, I've created a github page with links to a binary and build instructions for getting Node to run on the Raspberry Pi:
https://github.com/gflarity/node_pi
It takes over 2 hours to build, so go for the binary unless you're paranoid.
Cheers,

Hi,
I got the source code of node.js from http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.10.25/node-v0.10.25.tar.gz and cross compiled it
Here were my steps of compiling:
