Hello everyone, I installed and use Android x86 4.4 on my PC, I can no longer open the virtual machine (bootloop). Is there a way to recover the files I had stored in the file system? I tried to mount the VDI image on a virtual machine with Ubuntu but it does not read all files

Hi there,
I deleted all db files on all my machines.
Now when I startup the mongo db again, the database still knows about
the replSet.
It also sais replSet is initialized.
But all servers are in STARTUP2 state, since there is no master to sync from.
How can I recover this state and "tell" mongo, that all data is gone?
Greetings,

when I installed the cluster ... and I can see files under

what I did so far:
- spin a new machine .. and configure it completely as I did for the dead

Hi,
We've got a replica set in use in production to store our session information made up of a primary, secondary and an arbiter (each on a separate machine). The session information has a short life span and there is a stored proc, called every 10 minutes via a cron job, that deletes all sessions which are more than 3 hours old. The size of the data stored varies through the day but peaks at
Hello all,
After a disk problem in one of our cluster's datanodes, there were some
corrupted files in the local file system. In the begining we did a
hadoop fsck -move that moved corrupted files to /lost+found. We have now
recovered the corrupted files in the local filesystem(datanode's
directory). Is there a way to recover the files from lost+found folder?
hadoop version: 0.20.2-cdh3u3
There exists
We have a corrupted file which has only one block.
It turns out that all checksum files of the replicas
are corrupted... but the data files are OK...
How to recover this file?
I can think of trying to use shell get file with -ingorecrc
option. Then put it into HDFS again...
But can the system automatically recover
this until it is too late?
Thanks

Hi guys,
I just faced a weird situation, in which one of my hard disks on DN went
down.
Due to which when I restarted namenode, some of the blocks went missing and
it was saying my namenode is CORRUPT and in safe mode, which doesn't allow
you to add or delete any files on HDFS.
I know , we can close the safe mode part.
Problem is how to deal with Corrupt Namenode problem in this case -- Best
practices

Hello,
Currently I have the setting:
innodb_data_file_path=ibdata1:10G;ibdata2:10G;ibdata3:10G;ibdata4:10G:autoextend
Because the last file of ibdata4 is very large (more than 50G), if I
want extend the data to more files, for example, ibdata5, ibdata6...
how to do it?
Thanks!
Can anyone suggest how I could verify that the files created by
mysqldump are "okay"? They are being created for backup purposes, and
the last thing I want to do is find out that the backups themselves are
in some way corrupt.
I know I can check the output of the command itself, but what if.. I
don't know... if there are problems with the disc it writes to, or
something like that. Is there

Hey all,
I host my app on a friend server who make backup every night, well
yesterday he installed another distro so I asked him for my db backup
and it turns out the only backup he did was the whole hard drive. So
he just sent me a tarball of my database directory containing:
ads_categories.MYD,ads_categories.MYI,ads.frm,ads.MYD,ads.MYI,categories.frm,categories.MYD,categories.MYI,db.opt,regions
