Hello there,
today I setup my google play account.
I then turned off auto update.
I then went through and update each app one at a time.
near the last few apps I got a message saying google play service error.
every minute the tablet is saying this error message even though I am not using it.
what exactly is this problem and how do I resolve it.?

First, really the lock services works fine, blocking shutdown (allowing
BUT the problem is: the lapse between show screen and service start, allow
full acess to status bar. so all protection was gone if you have 10 seconds
to use de status bar on start.
the worst thing, you can do a shutdown from energy menu, if you restar you
smartphone.
I now that's not a perfect anti thief solution

I'm enjoying trying out a build of lollipop, but struggling with apps.
Am I correct in thinking that for the android system to be registered on
play store to install programs remotely I need Google Play Services
installed (and an account set up on the system)?
Has anyone had any luck finding a lollipop build of com.google.android.gms
for x86?

I'm aware AutoInput can do "screen scraping" but it requires Google Play Services.
Are there any alternatives to be able to use what you "see" on the screen in Tasker... and doesn't require Play to be installed?
For instance... I want to wait for an app to load and certain content to appear before moving forward in a task. I can't just use a wait of x seconds, it's too inconsistent.
Ok we have a fix for the Google Play Services Problem, I've got Total
Commander and Antutu Benchmark Installed no problems.. Would any of these
work as A Replacement for google Play Services Or is this Something that
needs to Be Compiled differently?

I have a service to tracker location. The services works fine and logs the
location periodically.
When the user turns off the Location in the device then it stops logging
location which is fine.
But when the user turns on the location again, the service does not resumes
tracking the location though it is running. Did anyone else experience this
problem?

I'm getting error messages when activating GPS on my custom rom (as far as
I know, it has to do with Google Now).
The solution is very easy: I have to delete my Google Play Services Cache -
I'd like to do this automatically with Tasker.

there is a little annoying problem. When leaderboard is visible, if i go
background and then come back to app, the gamescene goes to black. I think
opengl context being released and doesnt restore again. In my opinion

I've tried manually installing Play Services apks and stuff and copying libs into System/libs but the closest I ever came was getting a few apps (YouTube and GMail) running, with lots of crashes.
