I have an Akka thread in my Play Framework application (hosted on Heroku) that gets called every 10 minutes. In this thread I access many models in my database in quick succession. After compiling and starting the application this thread runs fine for a few hours. Eventually (and for reasons unknown) the logger returns this:

Hi,
We want to develop a UI interface which would have some headers and
two-column layout. Left column would be for menu which would remain static
for all requests.
Right column contents would change as per the menu option selected from
left column.
Both columns and headers would be embedded in a template.
Can I make right column work as a portal/portlet so that only right column

I'm trying to debug a play 2.4 app. I followed these docs
and I also tried
running activator -jvm-debug 9999 run. The problem is that sbt/activator is
forking a JVM for the play app therefore remote debugging is pointless. I
had a similar situation with a grails app but grails accepts a flag to say
"run forked jvm in debug mode". Is there something similar in play? or
otherwise how else
I started to test our system yesterday and it worked fine while simulating
a lower load. But while incresing the load, the following errors started
appearing. I guess people have seen this before but I can't find any
solutions to them. Most solutions is to upgrade to boneCP 0.8 but since
that is default now that isn't helpful. What configuration options is
relevant to this in Play and MySQL

- I changed : Window/General/Network connection/Active Provider:(to)

- I disabled my firewall;
- I restarted my server, and my eclipse a couple of times ...;
- I changed the ports ...;

but in my browser i access my data from:

I'm using Play 2.4 for my project; I want to integrate all logs in one
place, and because of this I've done the recommended setting in the

logging configuration section ) ... but it don't work!!!

Hi all,
When some clients hit my Play 2.3.x rest service from a python script,
they sporadically get an error "*socket.error: [Errno 54] Connection reset
by peer*". In the server side, logs look happy and seems like even when the
client receives the connection reset all the calls in the server side
completed successfully.
This is my log config in application.conf:

I have a preset mysql DB which I cannot control. My application only
accesses it to read.
I've been using Play for a while now, primarily on Java. I updated my
project to Play 2.5 and had to rewrite database classes for it to fit new
injection-styled approach so my old
DB.getDataSource("auth1").getConnection()
became
@Inject @NamedDatabase("auth1") Database gamedb;
gamedb.getConnection
I am usingplay 2.0.
According to my findings "play war" command is not supported in play 2.0 framework.
So, what is the way to create a WAR file in play 2.0 framework?

Hello,
we have realised a bottleneck in our web application. It hangs when user session peaks. Page load time jumps to 20s.
It seems that issue is not in database speed, because even jsRoutes file download takes 20s. Also CPU load (1/4) and memory usage (2/8) is not near by its limit. Problem is some where else. It seems that we have have not bring into use all the capabilities of our servers. What
