Hello:
Methods on the TextPosition class [1] appear to be relative to an origin
located in the upper-left corner of the page.
Elsewhere I recall seeing that PDF uses a coordinate system relative to
an origin in the lower-left corner in units of 1/72 inch. Is there a
reason for the difference in TextPosition.
Also, can anyone indicate if the coordinates used by class

I have a question about the coordinate system orientation for text.
Using PrintTextLocations and the ExtractTextByArea example, I have
observed that the coordinate system for the position of the text has
the Y coordinate running down the page.
I was surprised by this because ExtractImageLocations reports images
with the origin being at the lower left.
My quick browsing of the pdf spec at

Hi,
I have created a database with the backend of Mysql
and i am accesing the database using PHP scripts.
In the database there is one field, which has the
information of the structure of a molecule as a
Coordinate data.
when i am using the mysql_fetch_array() command to
retrive the data, it's just taking the text part of
the file, which is simply a ASCII characters and
displaying that
I am fixing a number of issues in twitter4j around the GEO utilities I
am happy to commit the fixes if you would like, this is one I thought
the group should have now..
static GeoLocation[][] coordinatesAsGeoLocationArray(JSONArray
coordinates) throws TwitterException {
try {
GeoLocation[][] boundingBox = new
GeoLocation[coordinates.length()][];
I want extends Tuple2[T1,T2] class with "Coordinate" adding
def x=this._1
def y=this._2
simple aliasing _2 and _1 method....
I tried but I have compilation problems on base constructor definition
I know that i can simply define:
class Coordinate (public x:Int, public y:Int)
but i want understand because is so difficult (for my ignorance)
extending Tuple2.
Thanks

How cam we make it run other fork successfully.
What if it failed can we start the job from same failed node.

Hi,
We are using Neo4J 2.0 embedded and have a Graph with around 1 Million of Nodes, and 50 Million of relationships;
When callorg.neo4j.gis.spatial.SimplePointLayer.findClosestPointsTo(Coordinate, double), to get all closest node from a given point,we have very low performance.
Is there a reason for this? oris there any other faster way?
Thanks

Hi,
I wish to find accurately the width of a sub-string using the
PDFTextStripper. For e.g. part of the output of PDF Text extraction
example is as follows:
String[75.0,278.8 fs=10.0 xscale=1.0 height=7.0000005 space=5.830001
width=108.87001]Primary Diagnosis: elder
Here the width calculated for the entire string "Primary Diagnosis:
elder" is 108.87001. I wish to find the starting x-coordinate
What is the quickest way to manipulate an image?
I have a 300x100 image of something (template), and I want text to be
inserted
to that graphic at a certain coordinate (e.g. lower right), how would I do
that?
