Hi all, I am dealing with a bug on my Nexus 6P that I am trying to
troubleshoot. The bug occurs only occasionally, so I need Tasker to help
me identify when it is happening.
The bug is some sort of GPS lock. Something is requesting my GPS location
and then won't release the GPS, draining my battery. Turning location
services on and off won't release the bug...the only thing that fixes it is
a reboot...until it happens again.
Is there a profile that I can use in Tasker that will fire off an alert
when the GPS location has been requested, or maybe been on for a period of
time?

Could you trigger off the gps notification.
'Notification listener' Is a good plug in for detecting notifications.

  • Sending ECHO_REQUEST (pinging) With Python in Python

  • Hi, I've writing a python application in which I'd like to have a small "ping label", to always tell the current ping time to the server. It seems however that I have to be root to send those imcp packages, but I guess there must be a workaround since I can easily use the "ping" command as ordinary user. Do anybody know how to do this in python?...
